Week 4. This song is one of my treasures. 🙂 Shout out to my sister-friend Shiku, who helped pull this song out of me on a late night in January of last year. Perhaps one day I’ll make a proper studio recording.
I promise, it’s not that I try to be sad. I’m just very, very reflective. And, some point or another, one must learn to love and be loved, and it’s the events that inspired this song that helped me learn that finally.

Lyrics:
Picture them, the words you said,
a memory sticking in my head of you calling me,
admittedly, I didn’t think that I could be for you
And I was so afraid to try,
afraid to fall, afraid to fly with you
But you took my hand in understanding
I had to grasp this new beginning
I’m falling over you
Tell me what to do
The lows were low as the highs were high
With you I learned to walk a mile or two
I couldn’t hide behind disguises
even now there’s no more acting
Who we were might be over now
but love remains, I wonder how are you
I know that love is true
I know that love is true
Picture them, the words you said,
a memory sticking in my head of you…
